When you test your blood sugar on a diabetic meter and the meter says "hi" what does it mean?
I am diabetic and I have tested my blood sugar at this all day and every time I try to stand the test "hello". I have my blood sugar to 3 feet, and I have tried no idea what that means. Hi, depends on the type of instrument you use and which country you are, you get different answers. In the U.S., if you're testing with the device they are using here, and you get about 100, is the person with diabetes the importance of the person who makes your blood sugar more than it should be and is not used, and the sugar stays in the body and later to different bodies in body will cause it to malfunction. Blood glucose levels are out of control in every day, 140mg. and higher. This person must be the diet control and should go in small amounts for each meal. And need regular exercise, sweating, so sugar is used a lot of exercise and not in an institution, to remain in the pancreas. In your meter to say "hello" as the way in which the design of your country, maybe it's better to find a new meter that will tell you a certain number, usually 100 mg or 60 mg or less - very low - hypoglycemia, or high 170mg / everything - diabetic hyperglycemia or may not be able to read the meter and give you some numbers to read because it is way too high already. You must slow down to eat now. Do not worry, it's not even to murder you. But you really start to eat less and more vegetables and less bread and rice. Take your medication regularly and if you have not missed anything. Always carry something sweet in your bag with you and always carry your medication with you. Do not eat much - that's the secret to controlling this disease. If your meter to say "you" or "low", make sure you are near a source of sweet foods, as they begin to tremble, and you must eat sugar or sweets or chocolate cake or a peanut butter sandwich ( anything with sugar), ice cream, candy, etc. Then, very, very low, for example, 20 mg, and end up falling much of this will be bad for the eyes. You did not specify the brand in its indicator - for everything I say here, look at your situation. Apart from the properties of the yards, it's all true. Good luck. In most meters, which means your blood sugar is over 600, and is extremely dangerous. Starting treatment now. And be sure to check your blood or urine for ketones as soon as possible. Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious matter, and may require a trip to the hospital. If you do not know how to treat yourself, consult your doctor. NOW. Are all brands of TEST STRIPS for diabetic lancing devices for glucose testing the same?
I have a Kroger blood glucose monitoring system? "I can use other brands strips fit to play? I'm not sure what the company Kroger glucometer. You can use the meter test strips sold by Kroger and the manufacturer itself does meters. Other companies only works meters on the patios. Do not buy test strips from Ebay or other places such as discounts online. They may be contaminated or old or poor. Lancets and holders of work for the test. I get the lancets 31 gauge needle and syringe or pen that higher the number, the thinner the wire or needle and makes a smaller hole in the skin. I'm not diabetic, and none of the meters had test strips in it, you must use test strips to check the device you use, but you can use tap you want.

If a Diabetic is called to the Dr within 1 day of a blood test is that a warning?
My BF was called by Dr. days after taking a blood sample for diabetes. Did a test on Monday, was convened by the doctor's office, and Tuesday is a meeting for Thursday (tomorrow). Do you think there is something wrong with him, I want to see him so quickly. He already has an appointment next Tuesday at the diabetes clinic. You may just have to adjust your insulin or other meds.Diabetes can change very quickly and often. It is therefore important that blood tests every three months. But is not stress about it. Worry about it when the time comes, if it were an emergency, I would call the same day:) You can be anything, could be anything. Depends entirely on the doctor. Maybe you just want to talk to him about other health problems. May not necessarily mean that diabetes may even be a bad thing. Do not worry, even if it is diabetes, it is relatively easy to deal with all these new blood glucose meters, insulin pump / pencils and my whatnotDoesn't he wanted a shorter or lower quality of life either. Treatment is primarily insulin injections (type 1), drugs (type 2) and Diet & Exercise (type 2, but particularly important for type 1). If yes, the diagnosis is, you get used to it after about a month. Hope it works:).

If my values to measure the levels of insulin, which is 21.8 and hemoglobin A1c is 6.6, this may mean that prediabetic or is this normal performance? The numbers do not seem so bad. It seems that many doctors want to diagnose people with diabetes. Just keep your eyes on it and ask your doctor. No, just make sure you download it before it becomes one. If you leave so you can use it. If you are overweight, lose weight. Eat healthier, more salads. Ooooh, you're right on the boundary question good. 6.5% is the lower limit for diabetes. However, varies with each individual. You have all the pre-diabetes. After all, diabetes is not one of those things you have or not, there is continuity. As people age, little by little in substance, diabetes are more and more until you start noticing the symptoms. The best remedy for your situation is high in protein and high fiber diet with regular exercise! you're on the edge. Thats sorta where I am, I'm 27 and I just found out a year ago about the best there is to eat right and excersise, I'm not really a big problem was the administration, and I n has never really takin good to me . 6.6 is a good number for an A1C. You can still diabetic, but there are many. (Sorry, I do not know the test serum insulin.).

Brand of cheapest Diabetic (Glucose) Test Strips?
What is the most brands of test strips for diabetics and where to buy? Buy only the strip with the meter! Are all different! They are not like the DVD and install all makes of cars. The least expensive meters are not very accurate at all. Prices vary from store to store, and perhaps the store is having a sale. You have to buy the strips with the meter! The tapes are not interchangeable, so the best thing you can do is to call local pharmacies in your area and has the best price for the bands based on the counter. Jump to www.healthwarehouse.com and control costs. That's where I have my purchase. I use the One Touch Ultra 2 meters and pay $ 30 for a number of 50, including shipping. Always use tape that matches your meter. I'm so glad I found this site. There are a lot of money to make strips.wish little he had invented. This indicator is a Wal-Mart, which had the corresponding strips are fairly inexpensive. I can not remember the brand name. But the advantage or something that starts with a meter to 20, and I think it was 10 for 20-25 of test strips. Previously I tested the device with an instrument of a button, and the results were the same. One Touch is like 30 to 20 test strips. Very expensive. if you're at an impasse and can not afford test strips, go to One-Touch Web site and e-mail and ask them for help. Send me 100 strips and coupons for free. You can also come to the clinic for low-income and speak with a local doctor, and you can get free "trial" band and usually hands out like candy. they can also give you information on where to go for less care. Even if you had an area Freecycle group for them on request and are people in your area to give you for free. hope it helps. Ive been there .
